Working
Titanium valves basically regulate the flow of liquids or gases when installed in a pipeline. On opening the valve, fluid flows, but if it is closed, fluid flow is blocked. Furthermore, titanium valves can be configured for manual as well as for automatic operations. Manual type titanium valves are functioned through levers or a handwheel; however, automatic type depends on actuators. The mechanism typically involves a disc or ball that moves to either open or close the valve. The titanium valve would make a tight seal when closed, ensuring no leaks and therefore no escape of fluid out of the system. Titanium material resists corrosion sites and high temperatures, thereby showing good performance and integrity under conditions which would challenge most other materials.
