Pinch Valves
Valves Only is the trusted Pinch Valves Manufacturer in USA. A pinch valve is one of those valves, used in the management of fluid flow from liquids or gases through pinching or compressing a flexible tube or hose. Therefore, the design places the valve in a position of highly close control over the flow since it doesn’t allow leakage, especially when its operation requires its transporting abrasive material or corrosive material and when contamination must be avoided.
Function
Flow Control: They can regulate the flow of fluids or gases by constricting a flexible hose, which can be accomplished precisely in respect to flow rates.
On/Off Operation: Pinch valves can halt or begin the flow of fluids very rapidly. Thus, they are very effective shut-off valves.
Throttling: They also afford throttling of the flow, by which satisfactory control over the quantity of fluid passing into the system is possible.
Prevention of Contamination: Its structure allows the fluid to be exposed only to the inner wall of the flexible tube, which prevents contamination by external sources.
Transportation of Abrasive and Corrosive Fluids: Pinch valves are used for abrasive slurries or corrosive chemicals as the flexible tube can be easily replaced if it is damaged.
Isolation: They can isolate parts of the system so that maintenance could be done without having to drain the entire system.
Simplicity and Maintenance: Compared with more complex valve types, pinch valves have fewer moving parts, making them generally less problematic to maintain and repair.
